SYNOPSIS OF FACTS:
Eighteen (18) months ago, the Bureau recruited a "Copywriter" as Confidential Informant (CI) within the advertising firm Rhodes & Clark.
His alias: “MERCURE” (mur·kyr).
The Bureau took this measure amid rising suspicions regarding Rhodes & Clark's involvement in a covert project aimed at influencing individual actions through persuasion, hypnosis, and advanced sales tactics.
Mercure was to give us insider access to this project and reveal to us the firm's true intentions.
During the initial phase, the Subject maintained regular communication with our field agents.
However, after fourteen (14) months, all communication with the Subject ceased.
The Subject disappeared.
Post communication blackout, the Bureau detected a sudden influx in the Subject's bank account, beyond what could be explained by the Subject's known income.
The possibility of a double agent scenario is now more than probable.
